Before RenovationThe North Central Missions Center acquired the North Arnold Mill Baptist Church property on June 24, 2010. Although the church will cease meeting, their vision for the use of the building for spreading the Gospel will live on. Please take time to view this album/blog of all the work to be done for renovating the new office of the NCMC. ![]() Rear of the BuildingThere is parking in the rear, however plans are to add more gravel parking. The building comes with 3+ acres. ![]() Hall for classrooms and officesThe double doors on both ends of the hallway as you enter the building will be removed and an arch above the openings will greet people as they enter the foyer. ![]() Reception OfficeThe first office in the hall is the reception/administrative assistant's office. A roll up door above the desk will be installed for easy viewing and reception access to the foyer and hallway as people enter. Also the front doors will have a buzzer for allowing people into the building. ![]() Reception DeskUnder the roll up door, there will be an installed corner desk and shelving for supplies. Also a fixed window for veiwing into the foyer will be installed. ![]() NurseryThe nursery will be cleaned up and ready to recieve children during worship services and meetings. ![]() Classroom 1Classroom 1 will be available to new church starts, meetings, and training. It will also have installed a one way window for viewing into the sanctuary for overflow seating and possible "crying room" for children and parents. ![]() Area Missionary OfficeThe partition will be removed and a wall is to erected for the area missionaries office. ![]() Two More OfficesThere will be five offices in all with one of those used for banner printing. The Associate Area Missionary office and the banner printing room will need the partitions removed and walls with doors installed. ![]() Classroom 2A second classroom will be available for church planting, meetings and training. The partition will be removed and a wall with a door will be installed. ![]() Classroom 2/OverflowClassroom 2 will also have the wall adjacent to the sanctuary removed and the partition will be utilized to open into the sanctuary for overflow seating. ![]() Rear of HallwayAn arch will open the doorway at the end of the hallway along with the arch at the entry. ![]() KitchenThe new associational office will have the availability of a kitchen for hosting fellowships and banquets. The kitchen will be remodeled to open into the sanctuary with a roll up door for serving and a regular door to access the meeting room/sanctuary. ![]() PodiumPlans are to reduce the size of the podium in order to accomodate more seating on the floor of the sanctuary for church planting, conferences, banquets and other events. ![]() Sanctuary LightingThe lighting in the sancturay will be streamlined into a more modern dimmer slide system also this is the wall with the "crying room"/overflow window seating from Classroom 1. ![]() Overflow PartitionBehind this wall will be the overflow seating in Classroom 2. Also the roll up window and door accessing the kitchen will be made here as well. The sound system along with video projection/computer will be moved to the opposite rear corner. ![]() BaptisteryThe association office will now have a baptistery to be utilized by church plants and any other congregations of the four associations. ![]() Overflow ParkingBehind the building is paved parking, however, additional parking may be needed. Gravel parking will be graded at the rear of the property. Also the trailers owned by the NCMC will be securely parked at the end of the gravel lot. ![]() Front/Handicap ParkingAt present there is no parking in front of the building. At least 6 additional spaces of paved parking will be added in the front so people visiting during the week will be able to more easily access the front door and be greeted by the NCMC staff. ![]() |
